In 1992-93 Glasgow Rangers helped form the Champions League with an impressive run in the competition that was marred after French club, Marseille, were discovered to have bribed opponents.
Rangers most certainly would have made it to the final of the tournament against AC Milan had the corruption came to light during the competition.
During the European run, Glasgow Rangers defeated English champions, Leeds United, both home and away with superb goals from Mark Hateley and Ally McCoist. See the Battle of Britain video for highlights of that particular game.
